most of our opportunities in life. Dave was a young man with a promising

future ahead of him. One has to be impressed with a young man whose

interest in history led him to Company K.

His loss was a tragedy for everyone who knew him. It is always hard to lose someone who is

young, intelligent and focused on expanding their horizons. It seems such a waste and

defies explanation in trying to understand why these things happen!

Dave was a comrade too soon gone from our ranks!
