RECEPTION
OF THE 7TH WISCONSIN AT MADISON
On the arrival of this body of heroes at Madison yesterday, they were
met by the Governor and other State officers and a large concourse of
citizens at the depot when the regiment was taken in to the Railroad
House where a bountiful breakfast had been provided for them.
Gov. Lewis welcomed them home warmly in behalf of the people of the
State.
