Lt John Williams, Co A, 25th Wisc, older brother of Isaiah Williams of the 6th Wisconsin. The brothers married sisters. After the Civil War the Williams family moved to Norton, KS. In a “History of Norton County, Kansas”,  John’s Civil War service mentions Vicksburg, Atlanta, ‘to the Sea’, Appomattox, and the Grand Review.
